Invite members to co-host a live stream

Last updated: September, 2026

You can invite co-hosts to your live streams to help create a dynamic, engaging experience.

Get to know the co-host role

A co-host is a person who collaborates with you (the host) during a live stream to present content, bring in their ideas and knowledge, and help you keep the conversation flowing and interesting.

To make the live stream experience seamless and valuable, choose a co-host who's:

  • Expert or knowledgeable about the topic being presented in the stream.

  • Engaging and comfortable with the presentation.

  • Collaborative and adds value to the discussion.

  • Familiar with your audience and their interests.

❗Important: To co-host a live stream with you, your co-host must already be a member of your community.

What co-hosts can do during a live stream

Here are the capabilities of the co-hosts in a live stream:

  • Join you backstage before going live to allow for pre-stream coordination.

  • Share their screen.

  • Participate in the conversation using a camera and microphone.

  • Send and respond to questions in the Live Q&A panel.

  • Participate in live chat discussions to keep the community engaged.

  • View the participant list.

  • Remove themselves as a co-host.

ℹ️ Note: Multiple co-hosts can join your live stream based on your community’s subscription plan. For more information about live stream limits under your community plan, see the following:
