Circle live overview
Last updated: March 1, 2026
Circle live is a powerful feature to foster strong connections with your community. With its seamless audio and video capabilities, you can connect with your audience in real time and engage with them on a deeper level.
Key features
Flexible live options: Go live in your community using live streams and live rooms via a desktop, mobile browser, or Circle iOS and Android apps.
Instant live sessions and scheduled live events: Choose between starting an Instant live session or scheduling a live event in one of your event spaces. Instant live sessions allow you to go live on the spot whenever the moment strikes, making it easy to connect spontaneously. For larger, planned sessions, you can use the Circle live stream or room as a location when creating your event.
Visibility settings for tailored access: When setting up an instant live session or a live event, select from various visibility options to control who can see and join each live session.
Invite co-hosts and moderators: Enhance your sessions by inviting co-hosts to share insights or moderators to help manage the conversation. Co-hosts can join you on screen during live stream sessions, while moderators can assist with questions, manage interactions, and keep things running smoothly.
Live Q&A: Use the Q&A during live to encourage active participation from your audience. Allow participants to submit questions, engage with other participants’ questions, and bring their questions into focus using the spotlight view.
Empower member-hosted sessions: Allow members to start their own live sessions, fostering member-driven discussions, collaborative projects, or peer-led workshops.
Record and share sessions: Record your live sessions and post them directly in your community. Stream and record live sessions in 1080p HD (when supported by the user's internet bandwidth and connection quality).
Manage past sessions: Access and manage all your past sessions and recordings in one centralized location.
Live streams
Whether hosting a live event, teasing new content, or showcasing your amazing talent, live streaming enables you to broadcast it in your community. Additionally, with the ability to invite your community members to co-host or moderate the live stream, you can create a collaborative and engaging environment during the stream.
You can choose from three different visibility settings for your live stream sessions:
Community: Go live to all members of your community.
Private: Go live to members based on various options, such as specific spaces, space groups, member tags, or even individual members.
