Recording videos in posts and course lessons
Last updated: March 19, 2026
You can create video recordings directly in Circle with no extra tools needed. Record your camera, share your screen, or both at the same time, then preview and publish it without leaving the post, comment, or lesson you're working on. Each recording can be up to 30 minutes long, making this suitable for tutorials, lessons, and detailed walkthroughs.
Video recordings are built on Circle’s video system, so they automatically include AI transcripts, chapters, and transcoding. You can also edit the thumbnail, trim the video, and manage it from the Media Manager.
❗️Important: Recorded clips count toward your plan’s total storage.
Availability
Video recording is available to both members and admins on all plans. However, if media uploads are disabled for members, the option to record videos won’t appear for them.

Video recording is currently available on web browsers, and support for mobile and desktop apps is coming soon.
