# Use Typeform to automate workflows

[**Typeform**](https://www.typeform.com/) allows you to create forms, surveys and quizzes. It’s also a great tool for community admins to onboard new members to their community.

## **Zapier workflows**

With [**Zapier**](https://zapier.com/), you can build automation between Typeform and Circle which allows you to automatically add and remove members, apply member tags, generate posts, and more by submitting a form.

Once you've created a Typeform, you’ll need to [**set up a Zapier workflow**](https://zapier.com/apps/circle/integrations/typeform) (also known as a “Zap”) with the relevant triggers and resulting actions in your community.

Here are some of the actions that can be triggered in your Circle community when someone submits a Typeform:

- **Create** post or comment

- **Apply** or **remove** member tag

- **Add** member to space or space group

- **Remove** member from space, space group, or community

- **Invite** member to community

## **Create a Zap**

We’ll use the “Invite Member” workflow as an example to show you how to create a Zap. Select it from [**the Circle + Typeform page**](https://zapier.com/apps/circle/integrations/typeform) and fill out the relevant info below.

### **1. Create a trigger**

- **Choose app & event** : “Typeform” and “New Entry” should already be selected

- **Choose account** : Enter your Typeform account login details

- **Set up trigger** : Select the Typeform which members will need to fill out

- **Test trigger** : Run a quick test to make sure you’ve configured everything correctly

### **2. Select an action**

- **Choose app & event** : “Circle” and “Invite Member” should already be selected

- **Choose account** : Sign in to your Circle community.  
You’ll need an API v1 token - you can find it by going to **https://[your-community].**[**circle.so/settings/api**](https://circle.so/settings/api)

- **Set up action** : Select the relevant information for Zapier to pull from the Typeform to create a profile for your member on your Circle community:

- **Test action** : Test out your Zap and see if it works. You’ll be notified of any potential errors, and you'll get a success message once it's ready to go

### **How to stop auto-scrolling?**

Typeform has an aggressive "auto-scroll" feature that sometimes causes the page/space to jump directly to the post with a Typeform embed. To fix it, try adding the below URL/code extensions to your embed URL/code to disable auto-scroll:  **?disable-auto-focus=true**
