When it comes to presenting content within your post spaces, variety is the spice of life. That’s why we offer three distinct layout options for your post spaces. Each layout has its unique features and advantages, allowing you to tailor the experience for your community members.

To manage the layout for post space, click the dropdown icon beside the space name in the header and select [**Customize**](https://help.circle.so/c/posts/how-do-i-customize-post-space-settings).

## Feed layout

The feed layout provides a dynamic experience for your members, mirroring the familiar style of common social media feeds. In this layout, you can display most information, such as meta info, cover image, and post content.

When using the feed layout, you can decide whether to showcase a brief preview of the post body or the entire post directly within the space by enabling or disabling [truncation](https://help.circle.so/c/posts/how-do-i-configure-the-post-settings) for the post.

This layout option is perfect for spaces where you want to offer a seamless reading experience or when the content is concise and engaging.

> 💡 **Tip:** When your space is set to **Feed** or **List** layout, you can also display pinned posts in the **Trending posts** block by enabling the right sidebar in space settings. Additionally, you can choose to display the members block in the right sidebar as well. For more information on how to enable the right sidebar, see [Customize post space settings](/p/posts/post-spaces/customize-post-space-settings).

## **List layout**

The list layout is your choice for a clean and organized presentation. This layout neatly arranges posts in a list format, displaying only titles and meta info. This design simplifies the browsing experience, allowing members to effortlessly scroll through posts in a structured manner. When a member clicks on a post title, they are promptly presented with the full post content.

This layout is the most compact among all the available options, making it an ideal choice for presenting posts in a linear fashion. You can consider using this layout for spaces that involve onboarding steps, regular updates, or a substantial volume of posts.

## Card **layout**

The card layout is all about visual appeal. Each post is showcased as a card with a title, meta info, and an eye-catching thumbnail image. This view is particularly useful for showcasing content via posts such as collections of resources, blog posts, portfolios, or product information.

When you have set your space to card layout, in addition to the post cover image, we provide the option to add a dedicated card view thumbnail image to each post.

Here’s how we are using it for our Circle community.

Whether you prefer the dynamic nature of the feed, the organized simplicity of the list, or the visual allure of the card layout, you have the option to create a space to match your community's preferences and style!
