# Follow or unfollow posts

To stay informed about the ongoing discussions related to a particular post, you can choose to follow it. This will enable you to receive in-app notifications about comments within the post.

> ℹ️ **Note:** The details provided in this article are relevant to both post and image type spaces within your community. Whether you're following or unfollowing posts, the process remains consistent across both space types.

In addition to manually following a post, whenever you comment on a post, you automatically start following the post. Here's how you can do it:

## **Following a post**

While viewing the post:

1. Navigate to the post space and locate the post.

2. Click the **More actions (three dots)** icon next to the post title and turn on/off the **Follow post** toggle.

While viewing a new post or comment notification:

1. Click **Notifications** 🔔 in the community header and locate the new post ( **Following** tab) or comment notification ( **Inbox** tab) you have received.

2. Hover over the notification, click the **More actions (three dots)** icon, and select **Follow post**.

While viewing a post on Circle mobile apps:

1. Head to the post space and tap the post title to open the full post.

2. Tap the **Follow** icon located at the end of the post body.

## **Unfollowing a post**

If you ever want to stop receiving comment notifications for the post, follow the same steps mentioned above to unfollow the post.
