# Manage your in-app notifications

You can easily manage in-app notifications in your community account. This article will guide you through various options for managing in-app notifications using a web browser, Circle desktop app, or mobile apps.

## **Mark all notifications as read**

You can mark all your in-app notifications as read by clicking the  **Checkmark**  icon in the upper-right corner of the notification panel.

> 💡 Tip: To mark all notifications as read in mobile apps, go to the notifications tab and tap the Checkmark icon.

## **Mark individual notifications as read**

When you receive an in-app notification, it is automatically marked as read when you click to view it. Nevertheless, you can also mark an individual notification as read without viewing it. Hover over the notification, click **More actions (three dots)** and select  **Mark as read**.

> ℹ️ Note: Marking individual notifications as read is only supported on web browsers and the desktop app.

## **Unfollow post**

If you are the author of the post or following any post in the community, you can choose to unfollow them directly from the notification panel whenever you receive a notification regarding those posts.

To unfollow a post through a web browser or the desktop app, hover over the notification, click **More actions (three dots)** icon and select  **Unfollow post**.

To unfollow a post through mobile apps:

1. Tap the notification to go to the post, or navigate to it directly.

2. Tap the bell icon 🔔 on the post to unfollow it.

> ℹ️ Note: When you tap a notification regarding a comment, you will be taken to the comment directly. In this case, scroll up the post and tap **View full post** to see the unfollow button.

## **Archive notifications**

You can remove notifications that are no longer relevant to you or that you want to remove from the notification tabs. To do this, hover over the notification, click **More actions (three dots)** icon and select  **Archive**.

> 💡 Tip: If you want to archive a notification in Circle mobile app, swipe left on the notification and then tap Archive on the notifications tab.
