# Download a live chat log

A chat transcript is a great way to review the discussions and uncover new ideas shared by members during your live session.

To download the chat log:

1. Click  **Community**  in the left sidebar, then select  **Live streams**.

2. Click **More actions (three dots)** next to the live entry.

3. Select  **Download chat log**  and confirm the action.

4. Chat transcript CSV will be sent to your admin email.

> ℹ️ Note: The option to download the chat log only appears for a live session if there has been a chat conversation.

## **What’s included in the chat log**

The downloaded CSV file includes:

- Timestamp for each message

- Sender’s first and last name

- Sender’s email address

- Text of the chat messages (including emojis)

## **What’s not included in the chat log**

The downloaded CSV file does  **not**  include:

- Attachments

- Images

- Videos or other media
