Supported email clients
Last updated: November 03, 2025
This guide helps you understand which clients are fully supported and which are generally compatible or not supported.
About email client support
Each email client, such as Gmail, Apple Mail, and Outlook, has a slightly different way to display emails. That’s because every client uses a different rendering engine and supports HTML and CSS to varying degrees.
To ensure your marketing emails look great, we test major email clients and categorize them based on how well they render emails created in our builders. Both the Text and Visual email builders follow these same client support categories.
In general, we support modern email clients and devices with some support for older clients and devices.
Email client support categories
Email clients are categorized as follows:
Supported: These are the email clients we’ve tested. Emails should render well and maintain design fidelity, closely matching what you see in the editor. Hence, you can rely on consistent performance for layout, fonts, and styling.
Compatible: These clients are functionally supported and have undergone partial testing. However, emails can display with a few small variations or visual differences. Issues identified in these clients are reviewed and addressed when possible.
Unsupported: These are the email clients that have not been tested or optimized. Emails may not render as intended in these clients, and visual or layout inconsistencies are likely.
If your email client or device isn’t listed
If a client, device, or operating system isn’t listed below, it means it has not been tested. While emails may still display in those environments, visual or layout inconsistencies may occur.
