# Pin DM conversations

Pinning direct messages (DMs) allows you to quickly access important conversations, saving time and helping you stay organized. It ensures your inbox is efficiently prioritized. 

> ℹ️ **Availability** : The ability to pin or unpin DM conversations is available to all community members, currently only on desktop browsers. Pinning or unpinning conversations will be reflected in the mobile web browsers and Circle mobile apps.

## **Pin a conversation**

You can pin multiple DM conversations from your inbox, including individual and group DMs, to keep them at the top.

To pin a conversation, hover over it in the sidebar, click the **More actions (three dots)** icon, and select **Pin**.

Once pinned, the conversation will be moved to the top of your inbox on web browsers and Circle mobile apps. If the conversation contains unread messages, it will also appear pinned in the **Unread** tab on the web browser.

Additionally, the pinned conversations are displayed at the top of the direct messages panel, accessible by clicking the **Direct messages** icon in the community header.

## **Unpin a conversation**

To unpin a conversation, hover over it in the sidebar, click the **More actions (three dots)** icon, and select **Unpin**.

Once unpinned, the conversation will move back to its original position in your inbox.
