Customize page design
Last updated: October, 2026
The site design enables you to effortlessly customize the theme for a page or the whole site, ensuring a consistent and visually appealing experience across all pages. This article walks you through accessing and modifying site design settings and brand assets.
Access the site design settings
Click Website in the left sidebar, then select Pages.
Hover over the page you want to edit and click More actions (three dots) and select Edit page.
Click Design in the left sidebar.
Brand assets
The brand section allows you to customize the logo and favicon for light and dark mode. You can also add the Open Graph image for social preview.
To add or replace these brand images,
Click Manage brand in the design settings.
Choose the mode you want to customize.
Click the image thumbnail or Replace below the image to add a new image. Note that the Open Graph image for social preview remains the same for both light and dark mode.
To finalize the changes, click Update site theme to save your changes and apply them to your community.
ℹ️ Note: When you update your brand images here, they will automatically replace any existing logo, favicon, or Open Graph image you may have added in your community’s general settings or theme page.
Site themes
You can personalize the visual style of your pages in both light and dark modes. To update the current theme, click Change theme.
Before you make changes, here are some tips on functionality:
Customization flexibility: While predefined themes provide a quick starting point, you can further customize individual theme elements to create custom themes. Additionally, you can adjust the color of individual blocks or elements on a page without affecting global themes.
Applying theme changes: You can apply the theme changes to the page itself or globally to all pages by selecting the Update site theme option.
Customize theme
In the Appearance section, toggle between light and dark mode to adjust the theme for reach mode separately.
To change your current theme, open the dropdown menu and select a theme. Don’t worry, after selecting a theme, you can still customize the individual theme elements to match your brand or preference. If you save it by updating the site theme, it will create a new custom theme. This lets you reuse the same theme configurations on multiple pages for a unified look.
Below the theme selection, you’ll see options for customizing colors, styles, text, and buttons. Click into each option to adjust it. To change a color, click the color swatch to open the color picker, choose a new color, and click Save.
Colors: Adjust various colors for different areas of your page. Changes will be updated in real time so you can preview the results immediately.
Styles: Customize colors for backgrounds, borders, text, and links to create a consistent visual style.
Text: Customize colors, font, size, letter spacing, and more for different heading levels and paragraphs.
Buttons: Modify the appearance of primary and secondary buttons, including color, font, corners, border, and more.
Apply theme modifications
When you're done making changes, choose how you'd like to apply them:
Update page theme: Click this option at the bottom of the settings to apply your changes only to the current page.
-
Update site theme: Click the dropdown menu next to Update page theme option and select Update site themeoption. Please note that:
If you haven’t made any changes to the theme you have selected, when you choose to update the site theme, it will be applied across all your pages (including published pages) that don’t have a custom theme assigned, and it will be used as the default theme for all future pages.
If you have modified the page theme, choosing to update the site theme will create a new custom theme and apply it to all pages in draft status (published pages won’t be affected). This custom theme will also be used as the default theme for future pages.
