These fields also enable advanced filtering capabilities, allowing you to refine your audience, including both members and non-members, which can be incredibly useful for administrative purposes. One of the key features of the custom profile fields feature is the ability to manage the visibility of both platform and custom fields. This means you have complete control over who can see what information. Here’s what you need to know about custom profile fields: - **Field privacy** : You can choose to keep custom profile fields internal, meaning they will only be visible to community admins. Additionally, you can manage the visibility of platform fields for member profiles, the sign-up form, and the edit profile page. However, system fields such as name and timezone cannot be hidden. - **Supported audience** : You can utilize the custom profile fields for both members and non-members. The only difference is that only admins can add and manage profile fields for non-members.
