These tools save you time, make content easier to access, and give you new ways to understand activity in your community. > โ„น๏ธ **Availability:** Community AI features are available on our Business plan and above. Community AI includes the following features: - AI content writer - Automated transcriptions - Activity scores ### Set up and manage community AI features To activate these features for your community: 1. Click the community name or logo (or the dropdown icon next to it) in the top-left corner and select  **Settings**. 2. Scroll down to the  **Community**  section and select  **Community AI**. 3. Toggle the specific feature on or off. When enabled, you can adjust its additional settings to suit your preferences. 4. Click  **Save changes**  to confirm your changes. ## **AI content writer** The content writer is an AI-powered writing companion integrated into our text editor for posts, lessons, event reminders and email editors (available with [**Email Hub**](https://help.circle.so/p/email-hub/marketing-automation/get-to-know-marketing-automations?locale=en)). Use our content writer to help you overcome writer's block, edit your content, and supercharge your writing process.   The content writer can generate content ideas, paragraphs, and summaries in a conversational tone, simplifying the content creation process for _posts_ and _lesson editors_ in your community. This eliminates the need for third-party tools when generating content ideas. ![](https://assets-v2.circle.so/b2w2dermsu9cjmdsirakbs90y7em) > ๐Ÿ’ก **Tip:** To generate better content writer responses around your community, provide a brief description of your community (255 characters) in the **Community AI** settings ๐Ÿ“š For more information about using AI content writer, see [**Get help with writing content with AI content writer**](https://help.circle.so/p/administration/community-ai/get-help-with-writing-content-using-co-pilot). ## **Automated transcriptions** When you upload a video in a post, event, course lesson, or send a voice message, transcripts are generated automatically if the video is in the language that you have chosen for transcriptions. Closed captions are also created for uploaded videos so users can turn them on while watching. - **Video transcript searchability** : Within minutes of generation, video transcripts become searchable in your community. Users can find posts or lessons by searching for words spoken in your videos. - **Accessibility** : Transcription and closed captions (for videos) make videos and audios accessible to a broader audience, including users who are hearing-impaired, neurodivergent, or non-native speakers. - **Better comprehension** : A transcript viewer for videos allows users to follow along, search, and jump to a specific moment in the video. For voice messages, users can click on the transcript to jump to the right spot in the audio. - **Public discoverability** : If your community is public, external search engines index your video posts. You can select one of the available languages that align with the language used in your video. To select the language for transcription: 1. Click the community name or logo (or the dropdown icon next to it) in the top-left corner and select  **Settings**. 2. Scroll down to the  **Community**  section and select  **Community AI**. 3. In the  **Automated transcriptions**  section, click the  **Language**  dropdown menu. ๐Ÿ“š For more information about automated transcriptions, see [Automatically generate transcription and closed captions](/p/administration/community-ai/automatically-generate-transcription-and-closed-captions). ## **Activity scores** Activity scores provide insights into engagement and the impact of content within your community by benchmarking member activity data across all Circle communities.    Our machine learning model generates activity scores for each community member every week. It analyzes a memberโ€™s activity over the last 30 days based on the factors you have enabled for activity scores in the AI settings: - **Presence:** Number of visits per day and number of days visited in the last 30 days. - **Contribution:** Number of posts and comments (in posts and events) in the last 30 days. - **Participation:** Number of likes on posts and comments, and event RSVPs in the last 30 days. - **Connection:** Number of active DM conversations in the last 30 days. ![](https://assets-v3.circle.so/dbonfghainxmqi568uve3i5reopv) To generate the activity score based on your preferred factors, turn the individual factors on or off in the **Community AI** settings. ![](https://assets-v2.circle.so/krw5vqik41jooraurnkr5oxh7yqp) ๐Ÿ“š To learn more about activity scores, see [Access activity scores](/p/administration/community-ai/access-activity-scores). ## **Use of community data** Community AI features are designed to use only the following information when enabled: - **AI content writer** : Data you specifically provide into the text editor to help you write and edit your content. - **Activity scores** : Our machine learning model analyzes member metadata such as the number of visits, posts, comments, or likes to generate activity scores. Please note that we do not use the actual text content of the posts, comments, or messages in your community for this purpose. - **Automated transcriptions** : Transcripts and closed captions are generated by processing your video content.
