## About events analytics

Event analytics provide detailed insights into the performance and engagement of events within your community. It also helps you understand how events contribute to community engagement and member participation.

This dashboard helps you provide answers to questions such as:

- **What types of events are most popular among my community members?**

- **How frequently should I host events within my community?**

- **Are my recent event strategies and topics working?**

- **Which of my members are most interested in events?**

### Access events dashboard

To access the dashboard, click ** Analytics** in the left sidebar, then select **Events**.

## Event overview

Get a comprehensive view of all events with a snapshot of key metrics, helping you quickly assess overall performance.

Key metrics:

- **Events completed** : The total number of events that have been completed within the selected time frame. This helps you track how many events were held within your community, excluding upcoming events.

- **Total RSVPs** : This is the total number of RSVPs received for all events within the time frame. This metric considers all events, including upcoming events.

- **Live attendance** : The percentage of members who attend Circle live stream/room events after RSVPing. This metric considers all completed events with Circle live stream/room locations, excluding any upcoming events. This conversion rate helps you reorganize your strategy to boost attendance rates, such as improving follow-up posts or using chat space messages as a reminder to attend exciting events.

## Event revenue

See how your paid events are performing within the community in the selected time frame. You can view two key metrics for the paid events:

- **Tickets sold** : This is the number of tickets sold for all paid events within your community.

- **Event revenue** : The total revenue generated from ticket sales during the selected time frame. This metric allows you to track the financial performance of your events.

Using these metrics, evaluate the financial success of your events and make informed decisions about ticket pricing, event topics, and event scheduling to maximize engagement and revenue.

## Event activity

This bar chart shows the event activity within the selected time frame. Each individual bar represents the number of the following:

- **Events completed** : All completed events, excluding upcoming events.

- **RSVPs** : RSVPs from all events, including completed and upcoming events.

- **Live attendees** : Live attendees from completed events with Circle live stream/room locations.

Comparing different aspects of event participation helps you identify engagement patterns within your community to inform your future plans.

## Trends and insights

Monitor event trends over time and gain insights into member engagement. This section provides visual representations of event data, helping you identify patterns and make informed decisions for future events.

### Popular day & time

This [heat map](https://help.circle.so/p/administration/analytics/access-analytics-overview?locale=en#popular-day-time) shows the most popular days and times, represented by the number of active members using color intensity within the selected time frame.

Utilize this map to schedule events at optimal times to increase the likelihood of maximum attendance. You can apply various filters in the dashboard to narrow the map data by member tags, event space members, profile fields, and more.

### Popular events

This is a leaderboard of events with the most engagement, measured by the number of RSVPs and live attendance received within the selected time frame.

This helps you identify the most popular events among your members, so you can modify your strategies and replicate successful event formats and topics to drive higher engagement.

Key notes about the calculation behind this leaderboard:

- The leaderboard prioritizes events based on the number of RSVPs received within the selected timeframe. Events that received RSVPs during this period will appear, even if the events themselves are scheduled outside of the timeframe.

- It includes all events, both completed and upcoming events, with most RSVPs.

- If two events have the same number of RSVPs, they are sorted by live attendance, with the event having higher live attendance appearing at the top.

### Top attendees

This is a leaderboard of members in your community who attended the most events, based on both the number of RSVPs and live attendance, within the selected time frame.

Utilize this leaderboard data to see who is most interested in events and will likely be great candidates as event hosts and moderators. It also helps you recognize and reward top attendees to encourage ongoing participation and foster a sense of community.
