Circle Recap

Circle Recap is a personalized end-of-year summary of how your community grew, engaged, and showed up over the past year. It highlights key moments from the year to celebrate what you and your members created.

Your community recap includes two views: an admin-only page with deeper insights, and a shareable card designed for members or your wider audience.

Admin recap page

Community admins have access to a private recap that shows how your community and business evolved over the past year. The admin recap highlights community growth, member engagement, email performance and business impact, with stats covering member and website activity, content engagement, email performance, revenue growth YoY and more.

Sharable recap

The shareable recap is designed for members and your wider audience. It highlights community-wide moments from the year and includes high-level stats such as total engaged minutes, event and livestream hours, top topics, most active spaces, top courses and more.

Admin and member recaps are available on paid Circle plans. Trial communities will not receive a recap.

To be eligible for the recap, communities must meet all of the following criteria:

• The community has an active engagement baseline.

• The community has at least twenty monthly active members in the last 30 days.

• At least one member has logged in within the last 30 days.

• At least one admin has logged in within the last 30 days.

• The community has sufficient data to generate a meaningful recap, with at least three recap categories meeting minimum data thresholds.

If a community doesn’t meet these requirements, the recap won’t be shown.

You can find your recap by logging in to your admin account on a browser or the Circle desktop app. Eligible communities will see a header banner with an option to view their recap.

1. At the top of your community, select View now in the header banner.

2. This opens the shareable recap page.

3. From there, select View your admin recap to access the admin recap page.

   1. ℹ️ Note: Select See shareable recap to return to the shareable recap.

While the admin recap is private and only available to community admins, you can share the sharable recap with your members and wider audience.

To copy the recap link or download it as an image:

1. On the shareable recap page, click Share recap.

   

2. Select Copy recap link or Download image.

You can control who can view the shareable recap using the publish settings. To access the publish settings, select Share on the shareable recap page to manage who can view the shareable recap.

Here, you can choose from two settings:

• Allow members to view the recap: When enabled, members can view the recap from the home page banner or by opening the shareable link.

  • ℹ️ Note: Members must be signed in to share the recap.

• Allow non-members to view the recap: When enabled, site visitors can view the recap from the header banner or by opening the shareable link.

  • ℹ️ Note: Non-members can view the recap but can’t share it.
